1. Guarantee Overview

A cosmetic paint job only hides surface problems. Our Osum surface method targets structural restoration (crack treatment, primer optimization, base sealing) first. Because we treat the substrate, we stand behind the longevity of our finishes with a structured, written guarantee based on the specified coating system selected for your project.

3. What is Covered

Under an active written warranty certificate, Osum Paints covers issues stemming directly from material failure or poor application discipline during the warranty period, including:

• Peeling & Flaking: Severe peeling, flaking, or blistering of new paint coatings.
• Water Infiltration: Recurring water seepage or terrace dampness through areas treated specifically by our multi-layer waterproofing systems.
• Chalking & Fading: Premature fading or severe surface chalking of exterior facade coatings due to sunlight exposure.

4. Exclusions & Limitations

Our warranty guarantees surface coating integrity under normal residential and commercial conditions. It does not cover failures caused by external mechanical, environmental, or structural factors, such as:

• Structural movement, foundation settling, or seismic cracking of walls.
• Internal plumbing leakages, pipe bursts, or dampness stemming from untreated adjacent properties or internal bathroom walls not waterproofed by our team.
• Accidental mechanical impact, chemical spills, or severe abrasive washing.
• Natural disasters, floods, high-pressure ground water, or severe weather conditions exceeding standard design tolerances.

5. Curing & Inspection Conditions

A warranty certificate is formally signed and issued upon project handover, provided that all contract payments have been completed in full. The client agrees to allow the surface coatings the required drying/curing time (usually 7 to 14 days post-handover) before placing heavy objects or conducting wet washing on treated surfaces.

6. Claims Process

If you suspect a coating or waterproofing system issue, please contact Osum Paints promptly. We will schedule a diagnostic visit within 48 hours to examine the surface condition. If the failure is determined to be covered, we will repair and recoat the affected area entirely free of charge, covering both material and labor costs.
